Meet the Team
Carolina, Assistant Office Manager
Carolina helps facilitate the day-to-day tasks in the office and provides quality patient care. She has been with Best Dental Group since 1999. Her favorite thing about dentistry is meeting new and interesting people and being able to help them achieve a beautiful smile. The thing she enjoys most about working with our doctors is that they put patients needs before their own. Carolina is a native of Cali, Colombia, the eldest of three girls. In her free time, she enjoys watching football, spending time with friends and family or just relaxing at home.
Elvira, Patient Coordinator
Elvira has been a part of the Best Dental Group family practice since 2005. Her goal as a Patient Coordinator is to make sure all our patients feel comfortable in all of the aspects of their office experience, from scheduling their appointments to completing the treatment needed. We strive to always provide clear and complete communication by ensuring our patients understand the necessary treatment. She enjoys working here because she has the opportunity to interact and help a lot of people. Elvira graduated from Elgin High School and attended College of Dupage to pursue a career in Dental Hygiene. When I am not at the Best Dental Group, I am usually spending time with my family.
Guadalupe, Receptionist
Guadalupe probably has the most familiar smile to many of our patients. She is our wonderful receptionist, who works hard every day to schedule appointments for our patients and answer any incoming calls and questions. Guadalupe is a native of Chicago, where she still lives. She is a proud aunt with a niece who is 9 and a nephew who is 7. Outside of work, Guadalupe enjoys jogging, reading and spending time at her favorite book store.
Leticia, Dental Assistant
Leticia, who also goes by Lety, is a dental assistant who joined our team in August of 2002. Her favorite part of her job is that there is always something new to learn. She continues to grow and learn with the staff on a daily basis. Leticia is originally from Mexico City and has lived in Illinois since 2000.
Ann Marie, Dental Assistant
Employed for 20 + years as a dental assistant here. Is our primary surgical assistant.
Mineyda, Dental Assistant
She was a Dentist in Cuba prior to coming to the states. She currently works here as a Dental Assistant.
Lori, Office Manager
Lori is an Office Manager and has been working with Best Dental Group since 1993. Her duties include managing the office and staff and facilitating the doctors’ needs, as well as assisting in patient care. Lori appreciates the caring nature of the doctors she works with and her favorite thing about her job is helping patients afford their dental needs.
A native of Illinois, Lori has lived in Elgin since 1994 with her husband, Dave, and daughter, Aleksa. Volunteering at her daughters’ school, gardening, cooking, and organizing parties are some of Lori’s favorite pastimes, and she bets you didn’t know she used to play the trumpet and loves dogs!!
Maria, Clinical Manager/Dental Assistant
Maria is a clinical manager and dental assistant. She has worked in the dental field since 1976 and joined the Best Dental Group team in 1997. Maria’s favorite things about her job are working with the patients and really get to know each person as an individual as well as seeing the happy smiles on their faces after a finished treatment. Maria lives in Pinegrove, IL with her mother, Eugenia, her husband, Bert, and their son, Allen. When she is not helping create great smiles, Maria enjoys gardening, painting, pastel drawing, crocheting, knitting, and baking.
Mary, Registered Dental Hygienist
Mary is a registered dental hygienist, and has been helping our patients maintain their beautiful smiles since 2000. One of her favorite aspects of being a dental hygienist is getting to know her patients and helping them achieve optimal oral health. Mary also likes working with the wonderful doctors and staff because of their energy, knowledge, and great sense of humor. Mary is originally from Chicago and has lived in Bartlett since 1993 with her husband Patrick and their daughter Kelly. Mary graduated from Loyola University with a certificate in dental hygiene and a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene. Besides her career, Mary enjoys reading, cooking, walking, swimming, travelling, and spending time with her wonderful family.
Adrienn Kenik, Registered Dental Hygienist
Adrienn Kenik graduated from Harper College in 2008 and has been working at Best Dental Group for over a year now. It is always exciting to get to know people and also to help them improve their oral health! She enjoys working with the different doctors at the office and meeting new and returning patients on a day to day basis. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and visiting family both here and overseas.
Tina - Registered Dental Hygenist
Tina is a registered dental hygienist and has been working at our office since 1998. She is married to husband Tim and has two beautiful daughters, Sarah and Leah. Her favorite things about her profession are the relationships she has formed with her patients and co-workers. She is a native of the Northwest side of Chicago. Outside of work, Tina enjoys dancing (tap and ballet), taking care of her daughters, and volunteering at their school as a teacher's aide and cheerleading coach.
